We encourage each of our employees to be 1% better each day. By forming strategic partnerships like the Beyond Insurance Group Network and AgCarolina, we aim to provide unique training opportunities that can’t be found anywhere else. By taking the time to invest our employees, we build a strong foundation within our organization that has allowed us to stand the tests of time since 1963.

High-Fiving Our Team

Our team has around 50 employees spanning 6 cities across eastern North Carolina. With an emphasis on collaboration across offices as well as divisions, we aim to provide a seamless experience for our customers. We empower each other with our various experiences and expertise creating an upbeat, positive culture where employees know their teammates have their back. Supporting each other is what we do best. Every year we have either a company-wide retreat or Christmas party to ensure the whole team gets together face-to-face as well.

Wow-ing Our Customers

Merely providing customers with their insurance options isn’t enough for Flatlands Jessup. We aim to always create a “Wow” experience. Our team has a passion for customer service and is empowered to go above and beyond to be sure clients have positive experiences. Whether it’s providing technology resources, unique solutions or even just a genuine smile, we will do whatever it takes for our clients to feel appreciated. In our recently instituted Customer Survey, our average on a scale of 1 to 10 from over 100 client ratings is 9.7. Our customers have high expectations for us, but we have even higher expectations for ourselves.

Contributing to Our Community

Flatlands Jessup believes in truly serving our communities, not just collecting commission checks. Since 1963, we have been a part of eastern North Carolina and have sponsored a variety of causes that are close to our heart. This year alone we helped build a playground for the Boys and Girls Club, volunteered at local food pantries and homeless shelters, rang the bell at the Salvation Army, and countless other engagements. We believe in and personify unity in our community and have that expectation of our new employees too.
