Born in Elizabeth City and raised in Edenton, Matthew Elliott proudly carries deep family roots in Currituck County. Today, he calls Bear Grass home, where he lives with his wife, Katie, and their three children. A 2009 graduate of East Carolina University, Matthew began his career in recruiting within the power generation industry before transitioning to insurance—where he’s spent the past 11 years serving clients across eastern North Carolina.
Throughout his career, Matthew has managed a local office in Williamston, been active in Rotary, and served as Financial Chair for the Martin County Chamber of Commerce. He currently holds four insurance licenses and brings both leadership and community-minded dedication to every client relationship.
When he’s not in the office, Matthew can usually be found with his family—whether relaxing at home, spending time near the coast, or staying active through church and youth sports. He has taught insurance principles as part of his church’s financial development classes and enjoys coaching youth soccer, T-ball, and basketball. His favorite pastimes include card games and family trips that create lasting memories.
